Terms of service
SIA “Kinuvel” 40203679948, hereinafter referred to as the online store, provides the content available on kinuvel.com and sells products in accordance with the Terms of Service set out below.
1. General terms
If a consumer purchases products through this website, such purchase is considered a distance contract and is subject to the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union, including consumer protection rules and regulations governing distance contracts.
These Terms of Service apply to all purchases made through kinuvel.com.
By using this website or placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Purchases
The prices, descriptions and specifications of products sold in the online store are indicated next to each product.
To place an order, the customer selects the desired products and adds them to the shopping cart. The customer then fills in the required information, chooses the available delivery method and completes the payment.
Before confirming the order, the total cost of the order, including delivery costs and applicable taxes, is shown at checkout.
After placing an order, the customer receives an order confirmation to the email address provided during checkout.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete contact, billing and delivery information.
3. Payment terms
The currency and available payment methods are shown at checkout before the order is confirmed.
Purchases can be paid using the payment methods available at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers available in the online store.
Depending on the available payment options, purchases may be paid by:
online bank payments;
payment card payments;
Apple Pay or Google Pay, if available;
other payment methods shown at checkout.
Personal data necessary for payment processing may be transferred to the relevant licensed payment service provider.
The contract enters into force when the payment has been successfully completed and received or confirmed.
If, for any reason, the order cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be informed, and the paid amount will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days after the relevant notification.
4. Delivery terms
Products are delivered to the countries and locations available at checkout.
Purchased products may be delivered using parcel lockers, courier delivery or other delivery methods available in the online store.
Delivery costs and available delivery methods are shown before the order is confirmed.
Purchased products are usually delivered to the address or parcel locker specified by the customer within 2 to 14 business days after dispatch. Delivery time may vary depending on the destination country, delivery method, delivery provider, seasonal workload or other circumstances outside the control of the online store.
In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 60 calendar days, and the customer will be informed if a significant delay occurs.
Any customs duties, import taxes or other charges that may apply in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
The customer is responsible for providing correct delivery information. If delivery is delayed, unsuccessful or returned due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, additional delivery costs may be charged to the customer.
If the customer does not collect the parcel from a parcel locker or pickup point in time and the parcel is returned to the online store, return shipping costs and repeated delivery costs may be deducted from the refundable amount or charged separately.
5. Right of withdrawal
The customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the day of receiving the product, provided that the product has not been used, opened or damaged.
The right of withdrawal does not apply if the customer is a legal person.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must contact the online store by writing to info@kinuvel.com within 14 days after receiving the product.
The customer must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing the online store about the decision to withdraw from the purchase.
6. Return conditions for cosmetic products
Due to health protection and hygiene reasons, cosmetic products can only be returned if they are unused, unopened, undamaged and in their original packaging.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if the product has been opened after delivery.
Opened, used or damaged cosmetic products cannot be returned, unless the product is defective, damaged during delivery or does not correspond to the order.
The customer is responsible for maintaining the quality, safety and condition of the product during the withdrawal period.
If the product has been used beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics or functioning, or if the product, packaging or protective seal has been damaged, the online store has the right to reduce the refundable amount according to the reduction in product value.
7. Return costs and refunds
The customer covers the return shipping costs, except where the reason for return is that the product is defective, damaged during delivery or does not correspond to the order.
After receiving the returned product or proof that the product has been sent back, the online store will refund the payments received from the customer under the distance contract without undue delay and no later than within 14 days.
The online store may withhold the refund until the product has been received back or until the customer has provided proof of return shipment.
Refunds are made using the same payment method that was used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
If the customer chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by the online store, the online store is not required to refund the additional delivery costs.

8. Defective, damaged or incorrect products
The online store is responsible for products that do not comply with the terms of the contract or have defects in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
If the customer receives a defective, damaged or incorrect product, the customer must inform the online store as soon as possible by writing to info@kinuvel.com.
The customer should provide the order number and, where possible, photos showing the issue.
If the product is defective or does not correspond to the order, the customer may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with applicable law.
The online store is not responsible for defects that arise after delivery due to incorrect use, improper storage, failure to follow product instructions or other circumstances outside the control of the online store.
The online store will respond to consumer complaints in writing within 15 business days, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
9. Product use
Cosmetic products sold in the online store are intended for external use only.
Before using a product, the customer should read the product label, instructions for use, ingredients and warnings. If irritation or an unwanted reaction occurs, the customer should discontinue use.
Product results may vary depending on individual characteristics, usage routine and other factors.
10. Product availability, prices and errors
The online store reserves the right to update product information, prices, promotions and availability at any time.
If a product price, description or availability is displayed incorrectly due to a technical or human error, the online store reserves the right to cancel or refuse the order. In such case, the customer will be informed and any payment made will be refunded.
The online store also reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order if there is suspicion of fraud, misuse, incorrect information or other circumstances that prevent proper order fulfillment.
11. Customer personal data processing
The online store processes only the personal data necessary to operate the online store, process orders, arrange payments, deliver products, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations and, where the customer has given consent, send marketing communications.
Personal data may be transferred to payment service providers, delivery service providers and other service providers where necessary to fulfill the order or provide the service.

12. Marketing communications
If the customer has clearly agreed to receive marketing communications, the online store may send information about products, news, offers and promotions.
The customer may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting info@kinuvel.com.
13. Limitation of liability
The online store is not responsible for delays, failure to perform obligations or other non-performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including delivery provider delays, technical failures, force majeure circumstances, changes in laws or other external events.
Nothing in these Terms of Service limits the statutory rights of consumers under applicable law.
14. Dispute resolution
In matters not covered by these Terms of Service, the customer and the online store undertake to comply with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia.
The parties shall try to resolve all disputes arising between the customer and the online store through mutual communication or correspondence.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through communication or correspondence, the dispute may be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, including through the competent court of the Republic of Latvia.
Disputes between a consumer and the online store may also be submitted to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of the Republic of Latvia or another competent consumer dispute resolution authority.
The consumer also has the right to use European Union consumer dispute resolution mechanisms, where applicable.
15. Final provisions
The online store may update or amend these Terms of Service from time to time, for example if the services, delivery methods, payment methods or legal requirements change.
The current version of the Terms of Service is always available on kinuvel.com. Changes take effect after publication on the website, unless stated otherwise.
